MRG Book Club
As a business owner and expert in the real estate industry I find myself constantly picking up books to improve my knowledge base, expand my perspective, and refine my skillset as a professional. So many of these books have been vital to the growth of myself and foundation for MRG. Last year, I was inspired after participating in a book club with Atlanta Department of City Planning to start my very own book club. The weekly conversations we had centered around the book allowed for an even deeper understanding.
Im excited to share this with you and hope you enjoy the ride! I have selected a list of books from previous readings and added some new well recommended titles. I won’t make any lofts goals about how many books we will read, and instead allow this to organically grow one book at a time. Below, you will find the information on the selected title as well as our reading schedule and zoom info for the weekly discussions. I’m so excited and looking forward to an awesome experience!

After making the decision to start the MRG book club the first major question was, what title would I start the year off with. I was gifted this book when I joined Invest Atlanta last year and it inspired me to share. My passion for real estate development and love for the City of Atlanta exposed me to HJ Russell early in my career and have for a long time regarded him as a role model. It’s easy to look at the Atlanta skyline and see some of his great accomplishments, but it wasn’t until I started to read his book that I realized just how unique his journey was to becoming the real estate titan he was.
I can’t want to share and discuss some of the insider stories he shares in this quick and fun read.
